This was the second year that I have walked the Komen 3-Day and did learn some things from my first year that made this an even better experience. The first thing that made this better this year was the weather. Last year was very challenging since it was over 95 every day and I was struggling to just keep walking. The weather this year was perfect.
Last year I spent much of my time walking by myself and while I did meet a lot of people, I did enjoy walking with teammates this year. I also trained more for this year and did not injure myself and finished the entire weekend.
