Possible Mac Pro

I have a lead on a good deal on a Mac Pro and am hoping to pick it up this weekend.  I have decided to sell my MacBook Pro now since it still has a good resale value and will pretty much cover the purchase of the Mac Pro.  I have been a little hesitant to move to a Mac Pro since the older non 2013 Models are getting pretty old but they are built as workstations and have been spending a lot of time reading about them in some forums and there are a lot of users out there still depending on them.  The appeal of having a system that I can actually do some work on outweighs the concern of them being old.
